The dealer in the room

About Aleksandra's Treasure

Not a corporate origin story. A real room on Commercial Boulevard, run by a dealer who would rather show you the piece than sell you a slogan.

The Aleksandra's Treasure storefront on Commercial Boulevard

The dealer

Aleksandra Jasniak keeps the gallery. She's the one who opens the door at 217A Commercial Blvd, answers the phone, and decides what earns a place on the floor. Her read on a piece is honest — condition, honesty of materials, and whether it will actually live in a Florida home. If a frame is wrong for the painting, she'll tell you.

The eBay storefront is the catalog and the shipping arm, not the personality. It lets a piece reach a buyer in another state without losing the relationship that started in the room. 100% feedback there is the proof that the descriptions match the objects.

Why Lauderdale-By-The-Sea

It's a walkable beach town with collectors and interior designers already on Commercial Boulevard — jewelers, cafés, and small galleries side by side. The light is honest. A gilt frame or a crystal bowl shows itself here. Two blocks to the Atlantic means the room has a mood you can't manufacture, and a kind of visitor who has the patience for a real piece.

How a piece earns a place

Condition

Honest patina over forced restoration. We tell you what's original and what isn't.

Materials

Real walnut, real brass, real crystal. We read the materials before the price.

A Florida home

Will it live well in a coastal room? If not, it doesn't make the floor.
